There is no charge to take an AP class but students must pay to take the AP exam. Exams cost $96, with a reduced cost of $34 for those who qualify. Reimbursement for AP courses is available through Idaho’s Fast Forward program. Late testing costs an additional $40. If a student requests a test after November 15, 2021, chooses not to take a test already ordered, or does not show for the test, they will be charge the $40. This amount must be paid to FHS no later than May 16, 2022.

AP courses are also offered through the Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA) and BYU Independent Studies. Additional costs may apply.
