Hello Parents, Guardians, and Staff of Grizzly Nation,
As many of you may have already heard, beginning this school year, our kindergarten classrooms will be moving from the Early Childhood Center (ECC) back to Fruitland Elementary School. Our preschool program will also be located at the elementary school.
This change provides several benefits for our students, staff, and district. It will result in cost savings, allow our kindergarten teachers to collaborate more closely with the rest of our elementary staff, and reduce travel time between buildings for administrators, counselors, music teachers, and other support staff. Most importantly, it will create a more connected elementary learning environment for our youngest Grizzlies.
We are excited that we were able to complete this transition before the start of the school year and look forward to welcoming our students into their new learning spaces.
Please watch for additional emails over the next few weeks with important back-to-school reminders, helpful tips, and information to help your family prepare for a great start to the new school year.
