Dear Fruitland School District Patrons,

The Fruitland School District would like to share an important update regarding our Fruitland High School football program.

Coach Jordan Gross has accepted an outstanding opportunity to join the University of Utah as their Offensive Line Coach. We are extremely excited for Coach Gross and proud of this next step in his professional journey. Returning to his alma mater at the collegiate level is a tremendous achievement and a testament to his dedication, leadership, and coaching ability.

While we celebrate this milestone with Coach Gross, he will be deeply missed by our athletes, staff, and community. His impact on Fruitland Football and the development of our student-athletes has been significant, and we are grateful for his commitment and service to our program.

We understand that this transition may raise questions and concerns about the future direction of the Fruitland Football program. We want to assure our patrons that we have a strong group of assistant coaches currently in place who are committed to our athletes and the continued success of the program. Their dedication provides stability as we move forward.

The Fruitland High School administration and Athletic Department will take the necessary time to thoughtfully determine the best process for selecting the next head football coach. Our priority is to make a well-informed decision that serves the best interests of our student-athletes, current staff, and the long-term success of the program.

The Fruitland School District remains fully committed to the football program, our athletes, and our coaching staff. We are confident that through a careful and deliberate process, we will identify strong leadership to guide Fruitland Football both now and into the future.
